 "Best Places to Work" event to recognize 30 top state companies  
"Best Places to Work" event to recognize 30 top state companies

Ten large companies and 20 small and mid-sized firms will be recognized by as the “Best Places to Work in Illinois” at a reception from 4:30-7:30 p.m. June 4 at the Oak Brook Hills Marriott.

The statewide competition is co-sponsored by The Business Ledger, the Illinois Chapter of the Society of Human Resource Managers and The Illinois State Chamber of Commerce.

The top-to-bottom rankings of the selected companies—from 1-10 in the large company division and from 1-20 in the small to mid-sized category—will be revealed at that time.

The event is open to the public at $45 per person for the reception, appetizers and dessert. Each purchased ticket includes a one-year subscription to The Business Ledger. For more information on the event and to download an invitation, visit ww.thebusinessledger.com.

The rankings were determined through a criteria developed by Best Companies Group, of Harrisburg, Pa., following employee surveys and interviews.
