Twenty named Influential Women in Business for 2008

Twenty area business owners and executives have been named “Influential Women in Business” for 2008 by The Business Ledger.

It is the 11th “class” of women to be recognized by the newspaper and its partner in the event, the National Association of Women Business Owners, Chicago Area Chapter, since the program’s inception in 1998.

The honorees will be feted at an awards luncheon on November 6 at Venuti’s Banquet’s and Ristoriante in Addison.

The 20 recipients of the 2008 Influential Women in Business Awards are:

Tickets are available for the luncheon at $60 each or $550 for a table of 10. The event begins with registration and networking at 11:15 a.m., followed by the lunch at 11:45 a.m. and awards presentations from 12:30-2 p.m.
