Fairview announces new name
DOWNERS GROVE—VibrantLiving Communities and Services has changed the name of its Downers Grove facility to Fairview.

Elmhurst College ranked
ELMHURST—Elmhurst College has been ranked No. 13 in its category in U.S. News & World Report’s “America’s Best Colleges” for Midwest universities and colleges with master’s degree programs. No other institution in metropolitan Chicago ranks ahead of Elmhurst.

S&D Products expands
BENSENVILLE—S&D Products has announced its expansion and move to Brewster Creek in Bartlett. The firm has acquired a 9-acre site and will build a 122,000-square-foot facility. This represents a 50 percent expansion from the 70,000 square-foot facility it currently occupies in Bensenville.

Winston Plaza acquired
MELROSE PARK--California-based NewMark Merrill Companies has acquired the 375,000-square-foot Winston Plaza Shopping Center here and has begun planning an immediate redevelopment program.

OAK BROOK-- Starbucks Coffee Company has opened a drive-thru store at 2407 W. 22nd St.

ORLAND PARK—Fidelity Investments has opened at 15105 S. LaGrange Road. The Boston-based company is one of the world’s largest providers of financial services, with custodial assets of $3.2 trillion.

LaGRANGE—Prime Property Partners has opened at 114 Calendar Avenue.

LOMBARD—The Westin Lombard Yorktown Center has opened. The 500-room hotel is the 150th Westin to open worldwide.

PARK RIDGE—Baked By Betsy, specializing in desserts and sweets, has opened at 124 S. Prospect Ave.
