L’ Eleganté Cuisine observes 25 years

ELK GROVE VILLAGE—L’ Eleganté Cuisine has marked its 25th anniversary. The catering and event planning business is owned and operated by Thomas W. Manetti, who started the business in his River Grove residence using a handful of family recipes. Today, L’ Eleganté Cuisine is housed in a 16,000-square-foot facility that includes state-of-the-art kitchens and food preparation areas.

DGACCI plans move

DOWNERS GROVE—The Downers Grove Area Chamber of Commerce and Industry has selected the Esplanade Complex at 2001 Butterfield Road as the site of its new office location. The chamber will move this winter.

WNA changes name

HINSDALEWNA Investment Programs, Inc. has changed its name to WNA Wealth Advisors, Inc. The firm has adopted a new logo which incorporates the new name and defines a new image for the firm. The firm is a fee-only wealth management firm founded in 1993 to provide distinctive wealth management services to affluent individuals and families, professionals, entrepreneurs and charities. Marianjoy expands

WHEATON—Marianjoy Rehabilitation Hospital has opened the Marianjoy Harry W. Khun Outpatient Pavilion and McCormick Tribune Day Rehabilitation Hospital on its Wheaton campus. The $60 million, 175,000-square-foot facility doubles the area available for adult and pediatric rehabilitation to 8,900 square-feet. The expansion adds 120 private rooms to Marianjoy.

Wheatland OmniMedia honored
NAPERVILLE—Wheatland OmniMedia has received four Telly Awards, including two Silver Telly awards for film and video and two Bronze Telly awards. The 28th Annual Telly Awards honor outstanding commercials, videos, films and Internet work. This year’s event had a record 14,362 entries from all 50 states and around the world.

Movéo observes 20 years

OAKBROOK TERRACE— Movéo Integrated Branding has marked its 20th anniversary. During the last 20 years the firm’s work has included services such as research, brand consulting and positioning, brand architecture, brand asset management, corporate identity, and naming. WSWE marks five years

NAPERVILLE—FedEx Kinko’s and Print Center has opened at 1979 McDowell Road, Suite 105. This center is part of the company’s expansion plan to open 320 new locations worldwide by June 2008.

ROLLING MEADOWS—Resources for Community Living has opened at 4300 Lincoln Avenue. The nonprofit organization offers adults with developmental and physical disabilities opportunities to achieve greater independence.

ST. CHARLES—Curtis Creative has opened at 111 E. Main Street. The firm was formerly known as Curt Schultz Design in Geneva.

LOMBARD—D.O.C. Wine Bar has opened at 326 Yorktown Center.

WILLOWBROOK—Portillo’s Hot Dogs and Barnelli’s Pasta Bowl has opened at Willowbrook Town Center at the intersection of Illinois Route 83 and Plainfield Road. This is the 45th location for the Portillo Restaurant Group, the largest privately-owned restaurant company in the Midwest.
