Elmhurst College increases collections
ELMHURST—Elmhurst College marked a banner year for fundraising and collected the third highest dollar total in school history. For fiscal year 2007, which concluded on June 30, Elmhurst College received $4,008,843.22 in gifts, a 26 percent increase over the previous year.

Kerasotes Theatres to open
OAK BROOK-- Kerasotes ShowPlace Theatres, LLC has announced plans to open a 14-screen multiplex at Clearwater, a new mixed-use project under development by The John Buck Company. Designed by Chicago-based OKW Architects, the development will occupy 29 acres at 22nd Street and York Road.

QIG moves to Addison
LOMBARD—Quik Impressions Group, Inc. is moving from its current 7,500-square-foot facility in Lombard to a 20,100-square-foot facility at 1385 Jeffrey Drive in Addison. The printing firm has also purchased a 40-inch, six-color press to complement its current printing, mailing, fulfillment and storage services along with new computer to plate equipment.

WCNCB receives prestigious designation
SCHAUMBURG--The Woodfield Chicago Northwest Convention Bureau is the first convention bureau in Illinois to earn the Destination Marketing Accreditation Program (DMAP) designation, an international accreditation program developed by the Washington, D.C.-based Destination Marketing Association International. In earning the accreditation, the WCNCB has demonstrated compliance in 54 mandatory and 33 voluntary standards in 16 core competencies.
