Printers receive award

Copresco printing in Carol Stream has received the Printing House Craftsmen Award from the IAPHC. In competition with printers around the globe and amongst 2,250 entries, Copresco was honored with a gold award for a four-color family passport memoir and a bronze award for a full-color product catalog.

Said president and CEO Steve Johnson, “Even though Copresco is a high-tech company, we maintain strong ties to the personal craftsmanship aspects in all of the work we do for our customers.”

New community magazine launch

Downers Grove-based Emerald Marketing, Inc. will launch “Neighbors of Greater Oak Brook,” a bi-monthly magazine catering to the communities of Oak Brook and Oakbrook Terrace, in March 2008. It will include coverage of municipal groups, business, dining, hospitality, shopping, art, entertainment, education and community organizations. 250,000 copies will be distributed free to residents of the two communities, in addition to bulk distribution in hotels, restaurants, and selected shopping locations in greater Oak Brook.

Demonstration agency celebrates 25 years

Demo’s by Diane, Ltd. is commemorating its 25th year in the demonstration business. The agency conducts in-store product demonstrations in retail stores throughout the Chicago0area and Wisconsin.

Contracting firm marks 25 years

International Contractors, Inc., a small general contracting firm, is now in its 25th year of existence. It began as a three-person company in 1982 and now has more than 50 employees.
