Patrick W. Kolzow, CPA, has joined the business consulting firm DiGiovine Hnilo Jordan + Johnson Ltd., as tax manager. Kolzow has 12 years experience in public accounting. The firm has locations in both Naperville and St. Charles.

Associations

Mike Ribet of Focus Capital Advisors in Downers Grove has been elected president of Midwest Business Brokers & Intermediaries while Greg Lafin of Wolf Capital in Oak Brook has been named the group’s treasurer.

Ron Bullock,  president of Bison Gear & Engineering Corp. in St. Charles, has been named chairman of the Illinois Manufacturing Association. The IMA is the oldest and largest state manufacturers’ association in the U.S., representing 4,000 companies and plants that operate in Illinois.

Education

Douglas Grier has been appointed dean for community education for the Waubonsee Community College Board of Trustees.

Employee Development

Kim Olver, owner of Coaching for Excellence, LLC, in Country Club Hills, has authored a book titled “Leveraging Diversity at Work: How to Hire, Retain and Inspire a Diverse Workforce to Peak Performance and Profit.”

Engineering

William Perry has been hired as director of business development for Reuttiger, Tonelli and Associates, a land development firm with offices in Joliet and Naperville. Perry brings more than four decades’ building and development experience in the Chicago metropolitan area.

Health Care

Deborah Gracey has been named by Humana Inc., a publicly traded health and supplemental benefits company, as president of Medicare operations in Humana’s north region. The 10-state region includes a 100-employee office in Oak Brook.

Marketing

Doug Davila has joined MarketSense—an advertising, web development, lead management and sales support firm in Burr Ridge—to lead agency growth. Davila will direct the agency brand and its marketing and promotional efforts.

Real Estate

Lance Ramella has been hired as principal and Mary Lisa Wahlfeldt as managing director in the new Downers Grove office of Meyers Builder Advisors, a full-service real estate consulting and advisory firm headquartered in Corona del Mar, Calif.

Restaurants

Erin Seal has been hired as event sales manager for Zed 451, a concept restaurant in Downers Grove.
