Nanette Traetow
has joined the staff of the DuPage Convention and Visitors Bureau in the newly created position of director of marketing and communications. Traetow possesses over two decades of corporate sales, marketing and management experience.

Susan DiMeo, vice president of Old Town Bank and Trust of Bloomingdale, has been named to the board of directors for Western DuPage Special Recreation Association, in Carol Stream.

William R. McManaman has assumed the duties of chief executive officer for Rockford-based Amcore Financial, Inc. He succeeds long-time CEO Kenneth E. Edge.

Darryl McCormick had been appointed banking center manager for Citizens Financial Bank in Bolingbrook. He has 13 years banking experience and is an active member of the Bolingbrook Chamber of Commerce.

Myron Siegel has been appointed to the economic development commission by the Village of Hoffman Estates. Siegel serves on the boards of many companies that have global interests. He has experience in economic development bonds, transaction financing, banking and law.

Jason Tsoris has been hired as executive chef of Stonebridge Country Club. He has over 25 years experience in the culinary industry.

Dana Cullom has been promoted to the position of designer for Naperville-based Icon Digital Design. She will be developing corporate identity, brochures, ads and a variety of marketing materials.

Kory Atkinson has been named to the board of trustees for the College of DuPage. He will serve out the term—through April 7, 2009—left vacant by former trustee Mary Mack two months ago.

Todd Lucich has joined Bison Gear & Engineering Corp. as vice president of sales. Lucich has over 27 years experience in the power transmission industry.

Mary Amerson has been hired as benefits representative for Resource Brokerage, LLC, an insurance wholesaler in Schaumburg. Amerson will act as liaison between the broker and the insurance carrier in the individual major medical division for benefit support.

Ines Vunic has been hired as existing case manager for Resource Brokerage, LLC. Vunic will work with brokers on their existing group case questions in the group benefits division.

Mick Anderson has been named president and chief executive officer of Naperville-based CheckAwards Corporation, a promotion and marketing services firm.

Terrence Ruettiger and Catalina Ramos-Hernandez have been appointed as board members for Provena Saint Joseph Medical Center in Joliet. Ruettiger is co-founder of Ruettiger, Tonelli & Associates; Ramos-Hernandez is director of the Latino center for excellence at Governors State University.

The Lincoln Foundation for Performance Excellence, in Naperville, has hired three new members to its board of trustees: Daniel P. Kelly, executive vice president, product development, Tellabs; Mike Onystok, chief quality officer with Motorola; and David S. Fox, chief executive, Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital, Downers+ Grove.

NEC Display Solutions of America, a stand-alone provider of professional LCDs, plasmas and projectors, announced that executive vice president Pierre Richer has been named president and chief operating officer.

Jennifer Oskierko has been promoted to director of benefits and payroll at Tandem Professional Employer Services, in Oak Brook.

Debra Cleaveland has been promoted to director of finance at Tandem Professional Employer Services.
