Hospice of Northeastern Illinois has announced the latest appointments to its board of directors: Jeffrey Boundy, president of Cornerstone National Bank & Trust Company; James P. Etchingham, an associate judge in Cook County; Francisse Kurth, oncology services manager, Sherman Oaks Hospital; Jason Sciarro, chief operating officer, Centegra Health System; Mary Sheahen, owner of Wild Clover Day Spa; George Yapp, past president of Hospice.

Mary Ann Stephens, PR manager for the Ecker Center for Mental Health has been given the YWCA’s 2007 Racial Justice Award.

Tim Ayers, Andrew Blake, and Chip Rowland have been elected to the board of directors for Midwest Shelter for Homeless Veterans in Wheaton.

Cheryl Georgas has been named account supervisor for JSH&A Public Relations in Oakbrook Terrace.
