Printer garners partnership with Patriot Guard Addison-based Fast Color, has been chosen as the single source to complete product fulfillment services for the Patriot Guard Riders online store. The organization has more than 175,000 members, and sells thousands of branded apparel and accessory items each month, to fund public awareness campaigns, memorial motorcycle rides, the Fallen Warriors and Wounded Warrior scholarships and its Help on the Homefront program. Fast Color plans to transform the online store into a complete catalog of Patriot Guard Riders gear. Fast Color also will donate 5 percent of the total sale of any product or service to Patriot Guard Riders when customers mention the organization's name.
Mortgage broker opens in Elmhurst First Centennial Mortgage has opened a new office in Elmhurst, located at 275 N. York Road, Suite 100. It will be run by Vice Presidents/Branch Managers, Mark Entwistle and Katina O'Connor.
Simple product garners award for innovation Libertyville-based Handi-Products received one of five "People's Choice" awards for its Handi-Treads product as part of the recent Chicago Innovation Awards program. Handi-Treads are simple, 1/8” thick dimpled aluminum strips that can be installed in a few minutes on stairs, decks, walkways, porches, ramps and other potentially slippery surfaces. More than 11,000 votes were cast in the program’s online balloting system.
Assurance named top employer for Generation Y Assurance Agency Ltd. of Schaumburg recently was recognized as one of Chicago's top 50 "Generation Y Employers" by Brill Street and Company. According to the conducted surveys, Gen Y workers want flextime, the ability to work from home, ample vacation, access to social media, opportunities for advancement, company-sponsored social events, generous health benefits, tuition reimbursement, employee empowerment and evidence of social responsibility.
Aurora Chamber Wins awards for communication The Aurora Regional Chamber of Commerce was presented with first place in two categories at the first annual I The Illinois Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives Communications Awards. The chamber's website - www.aurorachamber.com - and monthly publication, the Catalyst, were presented first place awards for their content and layout in the 700+ member category. In addition, the chamber's resource guide - offering members opportunities to promote and market their business's services and products - received an honorable mention in the 700+ member category.

Minuteman Press named for franchise performance Minuteman Press Naperville recently was honored for Top Overall Performance by Minuteman Press International the oldest and largest printing franchise in the world with over 950 locations in three continents. The Naperville location is the largest company within the franchise.
Proverb takes home design honors Palos-based Proverb Associates has won five American Graphic Design awards from Graphic Design USA, for work on The Odyssey Country Club branded marketing materials; Republic Bank’s intranet launch promotion, in-branch video reel, and employee birthday card series; and Simage branded marketing materials.
PGM honored with MarCom awards Naperville-based marketing company Paul Gregory Media (PGM) has won three MarCom Awards for the branding of Connexus, a community association service company, and for the design of an integrated marketing campaign, "Get Junged" of client Bob Jung Painting and Decorating. PGM also won an honorable mention for "A Perfect Cause", a non-profit organization created by the founders of Perfect Air, to help local struggling families in today's economy
