Janet Meyer of the Barrington Area Chamber of Commerce, has received the Distinguished Illinois Chamber of Commerce Executive Award, the highest award given by the Illinois Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives.

Christopher Jansen has joined the staff of the Risk Consulting department at Oak Brook office of Crowe Horwath LLP. Also joining the firm in the performance department are Jennifer Meilander and Emmalyn Riley.

Diane Knaus, retail team leader for Kellogg Company, has been presented with the Network of Executive Women’s Bobbie O’Hare Award for 2009. The award recognizes members who have made outstanding contributions to the network and the consumer products and retail industry

Ada Nielsen, director of Exploration & Production Technology, for Naperville based BP America Inc., was elected president of the Licensing Executives Society (USA & Canada).

Kaelynn Lewis has joined the staff at Wayne/Winfield Area Youth/Family Services (WAYS) as a clinical intern.
