Patrick O’Neil, Will County coroner, was elected president of the Illinois Coroners and Medical Examiners Association in Joliet.

Gina Rossi has been appointed marketing director for Schaumburg-based Vanguard Community Management, a community association management and developer services company.

Greg Pinter has been appointed senior vice president of commercial lending for Buffalo Grove Bank & Trust, while Laura Crandall has been named vice president of commercial banking.

Nicholas S. Giuliano has been appointed executive vice president for Hinsdale Bank & Trust.

Jack Hubbard, CEO and chairman of St. Meyer & Hubbard, has been named to the board of directors of St. Charles Bank & Trust.

Jennifer Taff has been appointed president of the Glendale Heights Chamber of Commerce.

Bill Wiott has been named director of business development for Lombard-based Gregg Communications Systems, Inc.

James Gustafson, director of executive education programs at Benedictine University’s Center for Values-Driven Leadership in Lisle, has been named the chair-elect of the Business Leadership Division of the International Leadership Association, an academy of leadership scholars and researchers.

Don Thompson has been promoted from president of Oak Brook-based McDonald’s USA to president and chief executive officer, with oversight responsibility for the company’s 32,000 restaurants worldwide. In addition, Jan Fields has been promoted from executive vice president and COO to president, replacing Thompson, and Jim Johannesen has been promoted to executive vice president and COO.

Scott R. Hudson has been named president and chief executive officer for Itasca-based Gallagher Bassett Services, Inc., a property and casualty third-party claims administrator.

George Bellas, senior partner with Park Ridge-based Bellas & Wachowski, has been named a 2010 Super Lawyer for his work in business litigation by “Law & Politics.”

Michael Del Galdo, founding attorney and managing member of Del Galdo Law Group, LLC in Cicero, has been selected to “Super Lawyers” magazine’s Illinois Rising Starts 2010 list.

Patricia Basuel has been named interactive designer for Oakbrook Terrace-based David James Group, an integrated marketing communications firm.

Danny Sutter has joined Western DuPage Special Recreation Association in Carol Stream as support services coordinator.

John Reese, assistant professor of human services at Sugar Grove-based Waubonsee Community College, has been named chairperson of the advisory board at Gateway Aurora, a substance abuse rehabilitation facility.

Julie Fulton of Mint Condition Wellness in Westmont has been appointed by the DuPage County Board to head a new wellness program for DuPage County employees.
